News: SFO added to coverage area

PilotEdge is pleased to announce the addition of San Francisco International Airport (KSFO) to its ATC coverage area. This will facilitate longer flights for jet and turboprop aircraft as well as increasing the variety of available airports. Pilots are welcome to fly between SFO and the existing coverage area, which is the entire Los Angeles ARTCC, covering 39 existing towered airports, including LAX, SAN, LAS, SNA, ONT, BUR and many more.

Other towered airports within Northern California are not affected by this change. Only SFO is being added to the coverage area.

This is a temporary program that will run through the middle of August. PilotEdge may continue service at SFO beyond the initial 4 weeks, pending a detailed review of long term operations of that airspace.
